this post is meant to be abt the guides camp.. hahaz.. so i shall get started on my '' adventure'' at the camp... =D
Day 1
Woke up at like 4.30? i made sure tht i scrubed myself throughly frm head to toe just in case we dun get to bath in camp.. hahaz.. so daddy drove me to sch.. =D reached school at abt 6.25am. Went to guide den and guess what! HUI JUN CUT HER HAIR!! hehex.. =)
Fell in, had bag check and did colour party thingy to put up the guides flag. Oh yah! Xue Mei was in my group too!! =D sadly, dipshika could not come.. so my group consisted of Xue mei, Yun Ping, Justina, Namra, and Me! Yup! So we continued with building the clothes line, shoe rack and setting up the tent. The tent was like really huge cuz its supposed to be able to fit 8 ppl... Yay! =) hahaz.. so after tht, the mdms went to check the tent and each group had to pose an action for the camera! my group had to pose as a frog and say"we are the frogs!" hahaz.. its the mdms idea..
Moved on to play the game cum lunch... we had to compete with the other groups and the earlier we complete the task, we get to choose our seasoning for the chicken and our fruits and veges! =D My grop had dark soy sauce, cabbage and kiwi!! YUMMY!!
For lunch, we were supposed to do pit-cooking. Therefore, we had to dig the ground. Hahaz.. along the way, while digging, we met Mr. earthworm! =D played with it for awhile before it disappeared back into the soil. After that, we went to prepare the food. Yun ping aka butcher of sparrow patrol, chopped the chicken while Xue Mei, aka assistant butcher helped yun ping.. LOL.. the chicken head was chopped off and we were left with a headless chicken.. Ming en was like extremely grossed out by the chicken! hahaz.. especially the feet. i tried playing with the feet and suprisingly, i found it quite interesting.. =X then, we marinated the chicken. the chicken had a full body massage by me and justina! hehex.. so just when we were all prepared to start the fire, it began to rain... =( in the end, we had to do mess tin cooking instead..
Played a game in which we had to guess the name of a mdm... LOL.. kasturi described Yan Lam as sexy! hehex.. =X then halfway through, I SAW PLOX AND AH NA!!! THEN VRY VRY HAPPY!!! I MISS THEM SO SO SO MUCH!!! <3
As for dinner, we used charcoal to cook our chicken. Clara mdm and Komala mdm helped us too! =D Btw, we BBQ the chicken tht we ''massaged'' we also thot of a way to cook the cabbage!! i tried BBQ sauce and we used mess tin to stir-fry the cabbage.. suprisingly, it was YUMMY!!! hahaz.. so dinner was delicious and Namra enjoyed her sardine. =) so we wash wash wash the mess tin blah blah blah and as usual, the soot at the bootom of the mess tin was awfully disgusting.. bleah..
After that, WE TOOK BATH!!!! i was extremely suprised cuz we had lots of mistakes... so anyway, most of the sec 2 guides took our bath at the level 4 toilet.. the toilet tht me and sarah went alone last year.. it was REALLY REALLY DARK at the CCA block... yah.. so we washed our hair using the hose hahaz... then all of us did facial using my special facial wash!! heehx.. facial in camp.. @.@ then after bath, we did drills, then pumpings... and this time, i did nt sleep while drilling.. =X i remember last year during the camp, i closed my eyes while drilling cuz i was extremely sleepy... =X so anyway, we did some punishments like star jump and jumping-jack.. hahaz.. i quite like jumping-jacks for punishments.. i think its quite fun! =D
Not long later, we went to sleep in our very spacious tent!!! Whoo!! =) i had to do night duty with dawn so we stayed up a little bit later... time seems to past really really slowly... we were like vry bored cuz theres nth much to do except for checking tht every1 is asleep... then yi xin mdm wanted to play UNO with us bt then, it was the mdms bath time... so we didnt play.. =((
btw, i am really nt used to calling the sec 3 seniors mdm... its a little weird.. lol..
Santry duty was over and i went to sleep in the big and new tent! i slept in the centre so that i would be able to wake up on and off to check on the juniors ... bt apparently, the juniors REALLy wandered off to dreamland... me and Xue mei had to wake Yun ping up continuously when it was her turn to do duty.. hahaz.. then Namra was much worse.. I think she had a dream of something... just before i was abt to sleep, she suddenly said" This is my bag!!" then she grabbed my bag instead of hers.. then i was like " No Namra.. this is nt ur bag.. this is mine.." then she replied" NO!!! this is my bag!" then i was like LOL lah... then nvm... so i went off to sleep.. then suddenly at night, she tried to hug me!!!!! her hand was like over my waist u noe!! then i was like" Namra.. ur hand... dun hug me leh... " then i put her hand away.. then her hand came over again.. then i put it away again.. lol.. luckily she didnt do it a third time... hehex.. =X
So halfway in the night, there was a fire drill and this time, we were fast!! yay!! then we drilled just a little bit and went back to sleep...
Day 2
Woke up at 6.30 and we had PT ( physical training) hahaz.. ran outside the sch for 2 rounds... =) suddenly, i missed ET.. then after that, mandy mdm asked us to lie down at the quadrangle and close our eyes to reflect on our mistakes... hmm... i really luv tht feeling.. and if it was night time, then tht would be nice cuz can see the little stars in the skies!! =D
went back guide den to have breakfast.. we had bread with tuna and milo! then we proceed on to drills! For lunch, we ate chicken rice! lol.. then yu si made us drink eno... and everyone was like yucks.. actually, it doesnt taste tht bad if u swallow it quickly.. =D after tht, we had time to sew our new badges!! hahaz.. the sec 2s gt 5 more badges!! tht adds on to our collection! i wan more bagdes!! i think they look nice on our uniform!! hahaz.. we gt a badge for singing, dancing(POP), craft, and two more others... i forgot wad were they for.. bt i noe 1 has a pic of a bug! hehex.. =P
After sewing, we need to study for a test on WAGGS... just like last year, i was vry vry sleepy and the info could nt get into my stupid head.. =( i think i will really do badly... during the test, i fell asleep and my pen made a few wriggly line on the paper.. opps..
Oh wait.. before tht, we had games!! =D through this game, i really really get to noe more abt my patrol members.. Xue mei,Justina,Namra and Yun Ping are really really nice.. and i realised tht i gt to understand them better too. =D SPARROW PATROL ROX !!!! =P
For dinner, we had instant noodles again.. i muz really thank yun ping cuz she helped me cook my noodles for the past two days... THANK U!!! =) THEN THERE WAS CAMP FIRE!!!! WHEE!!! SO FUN!!! we put up a skit and i shall summarise my group's skit! our skit is abt a serial killer(yun ping), kidnapped to guides..( me and justina) then he wanted to eat us up.. then the super guides came to the rescue and together, we save the day!! hahaz.. its kinda lame lah.. bt then the actual script was like vry funny lah.. then we did cheers, song and a few games too.. the campfire was successful and fun! hahaz.. three cheers for the seniors!! =D then, we had bath again... oh yah.. it rained tht night so we slept in the classroom... after bath, we did punishments at the sec 3 classroom... it was so cool!! Naomi mdm drilled us too.. we did pumpings barefooted!!! =)) first time!! new experience!! hahaz.. then after tht, went to sleep... it was cold... REALLY COLD!! i almost freezed tht night.. =(( then in the middle of the night, we had night walk!! guess what!! MY BUDDY HIKE PARTNER WAS HUI JUN!!! hahaz.. then during the hike we keep talking and talking lah.. went to needle work room, DandT block, Quadrangle ther the toilet.. the props were very LOL... me and hui jun were like diao when we saw the props.. hahaz... anyway, buddy hike was quite fun lah.. we went to the basement too! the 1 behind the canteen!! heehx.. tht was the last stop and we were the first pair to reach there.. rachel mdm was there and we were bored... so we sat there and used our torch to make shdows!! hahaz.. waiting vry long for the others to reach.. meanwhile there were envelopes tht we collected on the way and the was cut up a pic up pic in it.. tried to form the pic and guess wad.. when we open, there was like hair in the envelopes! HAHA.. so funny lah.. the seniors... at the basement, we talked alot.. hahaz.. it was fun down there.. After tht went back to sleep... the basement was vry stuffy and i had a blocked nose... =( Btw, before sleeping, i saw gabrielle lying down and resting on the elbows.. talking to agnes.. hehex.. so cute.. Day 3Woke up and cleared to camfire site, which is at the basketball court... then , had breakfast... keept the tent and gadgets... lol.. there was a lizard on our tent... then when i was chasing it away, i noticed it was whitish... muz be mulnutrition or smth.. hahaz.. there was also ants on our gadgets... eww... After tht, the mdms punished us... we had to do pumpings on the wet grass patch.. hehex.. the grass was like poking my lips... we had to put our chins on the ground but the graas was just too long.. bleah... so anyway, during tht time, i spotted many ''new frens'' haahz.. there was like this vry cute bug crawling around in fornt of me... hehex... i could also feel the ants on my leg.. hahaz... vry ticklish lah!!after that had captain ball but then the senior will pour water down frm the second floor.. all gt wet bt cuz my grp was like the loosing team, we had to get totally drenched...they poured buckets and bucket of water down on us.. in the end, we were soaked... it was fun! =DHOME TIME!!! hahaz.. i went to eat lunch with hui jun and went home.. this is abt all tht i can remeber.. actually, theres much much more interesting stuff bt i either cant remember them or i am jus too lazy to type... I nt like some pro ppl who can type vry vry vry long post lah! ( Juanny) so this is like vry vry vry gd for my standard already.. yup.. so this is abt it.. bye bye ppl! i'm off to sleep now.. =P
